Carrie Kelley | Founder & President

Carrie Kelley is dedicated to the prevention of childhood injury through professional home baby-proofing, as well as education. Ms. Kelley has been a part of the child safety industry for nearly 10 years, as Marketing and Product Development Manager for Safety 1st, a major juvenile products company, and for the past 6 years as a child safety consultant.

As a trained specialist, Ms. Kelley can recognize and solve potential dangers in the home that may go unnoticed by many parents. As an active member of the International Association for Child Safety (IACS), a trade association of professional child-proofers, Ms. Kelley stays current on safety issues and products. Ms. Kelley is the featured safety expert on NBC's iVillage Infant Channel, which is available online and in hospitals nationwide representing a birth count of 2.6 million. The Newborn Channel broadcasts baby care and postpartum programming for new parents in over 1,000 hospitals nationwide. Ms. Kelley was featured on Channel 5 WCVB-TV's Chronicle and NECN's Dream House as a local child safety expert and problem solver." She has also twice been featured on Channel 7 WHDH news for her expertise on the prevention of furniture and television tipping. Ms. Kelley volunteers her services giving talks to local mothers groups. Regarding her career as a professional baby-proofer Carrie notes, "I enjoy working with parents to solve their child safety concerns. At the end of the day, I have a true sense of satisfaction knowing that I've helped to make a family's home safer, and possibly saved a child from injury."

Amy Arnold

Amy Arnold is devoted to making homes safer for children so they have the freedom to grow and explore. As a Case Worker for Child Protective Services in Maine for 3 years Ms. Arnold has seen first-hand the negative effects that unsafe homes have on children. In her position as Safety Consultant and Chief Installer Ms. Arnold is dedicated to educating parents in addition to providing them with effective and meticulously installed safety devices.

Ms. Arnold stays current on safety issues and products by participating in both regional and annual meetings of the International Association for Child Safety and she is an active member of association forums and safety seminars. Among her duties Ms. Arnold is responsible for training and overseeing assistant installers.

Ms. Arnold volunteers one week each summer working at Camp-To-Belong, which reunites siblings who are in state custody. Most recently she volunteered her time and resources baby-proofing a shelter for women and children in Worcester County. Regarding her career as a professional baby-proofer Amy notes, "I enjoy the hands-on aspect of baby-proofing. When I point out a danger that the parents had never considered they really appreciate my knowledge. Then I'm able to solve the problem by installing a product that works best for the home and the parents. It's a great feeling!"

As sisters Ms. Kelley and Ms. Arnold are able to provide seamless customer service to their clients. They are both new mothers and have employed in their own homes the safety techniques and products they advocate to parents.
